It wasn’t my first car, but it was my first insurance. I had finally moved out and left behind the parent’s insurance policy. It sure was expensive. But I was living with Ontario car insurance that was more reasonable than some of my other pals were suffering from.

I knew it was important to have coverage. I never let it lapse. Sometimes I wouldn’t eat so well, and sometimes I had to catch up my rent, but I knew that you never let your car coverage go unpaid. It was the one thing my parents were sure to teach me. It’s one lesson that I was sure to learn.
