A friend of mine has been hoping for a promotion for almost a year now. Last month, when yet another higher up job position was filled by a coworker instead of himself, my ambitious friend decided to take his self-improvement into his own hands. He’s decided to improve his sales smarts by taking a mentoring program through John Carlton coaching. So far, he said it’s worth his time and money and he feels like he is learning a ton of things that will help him in his job. I’m excited to hear if he holds the same positive views when he is completely finished – I myself might be interested in something of the sort since my ideal career is several corporate tiers higher than my current job.
