One day I told my wife about the invention I created before we met. I made the mistake of showing a close friend my creation. A few years later, I saw an infomercial about my invention. I couldn’t believe my friend had ripped me off. I consulted with a patent attorney about the invention. She said that there was nothing she could do since I didn’t previously apply for a patent. I tried contacting my friend, but he denied all allegations against him. I told my wife that I wanted to sue him, and she thought that was a fantastic idea.
