Tebow is human. I’m betting advice he already knows that he persistently fails to meet the moral standards to which he aspires. That’s why forgiveness is a central tenet of Christianity.

However, so far, it seems those failures are private and not yet perceived by the media, which stand perched in a line on the fence, waiting for an opportunity to feast triumphantly upon his mere humanity as proof that morality is dead.

I don’t think Mr. Tebow has asked the media to amplify him as they have. Rather, they react in an angry swarm about him from their own discomfiture and disdain, and to amplify this into a profitable story for the sake of their own careers.

I needed help in finding loans for bad credit. I wasn’t really sure if I would even qualify for a loan. This website got me what I needed. I’ve got a loan that really works for me. I’m finally able to put money into a savings account because of how low my payments are now. Consolidating everything was really the best route for me to take. I’m just sad that it took me so long to realize how helpful this would be for me.

The CRA was passed in 1977. It makes as much sense considering the CRA as a primary cause to the housing bubble, as say, the oil shock or the Iranian revolution, that also took place in the late 70s. Upping the percentage of Fannie May/Freddie mac subprime loans is a more logical way to look at it. It was a Bush administration decision that was made in order to car advicery water to Wall st, since at that time the finance industry thought that playing with MBS filled with subprime waste would be really lucrative. It is really the lack of government independence, and the ease with which Wall st and the financial industry pushes the government to implement bad policies, that are the main causes of this mess.

if the jobs act the administration does pass….which i doubt…..it would tax those over 200k and families over 250k much more than now. as a member of that group, and small business advice business owner, sole proprietorship, do you think i would be hiring? that is if i surive till the next election. this is the most anti business government i have experienced in the past 40 years, since i started voting and paying attention. in the 1960′s i refused to live in a commune when it was very popular to do so. i definitely dont want to HAVE to do so now just to survive

It never ceases to puzzle me why we continue to believe that coupling employment law advice with health insurance (for most Americans) is good idea, despite the fact that it is that coupling that is at the core of the problem. If we remove the connection and replace it with generous tax deduction (which is already there – employers write it off but the employee has to earn as a part of his employment cost) and even outright ban employer-provided health insurance, one wouldn’t have to sweat loosing insurance every time he/she loses the job. Moreover, it would let the market drive the cost and quality of health care, not a bunch of former or future Amtrak and USPS managers.

Alas, Lloyd, the Founding Fathers did not, in fact, adhere to the policy of not adding debt management advice. They created all kinds of debt to pay for the Revolutionary War.

While this country has certainly had surpluses, it has a long history of debt.

One might even argue that debt helped make this country great. We certainly could not have won World War II without a massive debt.

As far as Grandpa’s check goes, I think the Tea Pots better be careful. Remember all those revolutionary trouble makers who ruined the Presidency of Lyndon Johnson and tossed Nixon out of office? Cut their Social Security and their Medicare and see what happens.

Football is too important to bring a date where I come from. It might be nice to get dressed up and have a nice tailgate but given the SEC’s (Seriously, Everyone Cheats) record for NCAA rules violations, misbehavior by players (this week it was Tennessee’s 3 freshmen arrested for ARMED ROBBERY) and the degrees designed to keep student athletes eligible, the charade of being well-mannered and well-behaved rings a little hollow. And let’s not pretend there aren’t inappropriately dressed coeds running around in ultra short shorts and t-shirts ripped to reveal as much as legally possible. That’s not to say that you don’t have that kind of behavior elsewhere – you do – just not the charade.

And while SEC fantasy football advice maybe king, where would it be if Bear Bryant didn’t bring USC to town in 1972 to shellac his all-white Crimson Tide? Ten years later all the historically black schools’ football talent was now playing for SEC schools they were barred from attending and in front of those same white frat boys and their dates. Who said the Plantation was dead?

Your thought on college is a little out of first date advice. I got my job out of my internship, and I didn’t get it by sitting around the dorm chugging a beer. My college curriculum was very demanding with case studies, collaborative projects, networking, and tons of studying. I hit the books hard, so I could enjoy the weekend. I learned a lot and I learned it takes more than an aptitude test to be a successful, well-rounded person. If you stick around Management 101, a sophomore class, you’ll learn the number one skill required by companies is communication.
