Jim and Barry work at one of the local ski lodges each winter. They were happy when ski season started so that they could practice skiing. Last year our local sporting goods store had a huge end of the season sale.  Of course I never miss a good sale and was really pleased with the selection.  I bought a pair of Racing Skis at almost half off the original price.  I just used them for the first time about a month ago and really like the way they work on the fresh made snow.  They took a while to get used to but now I love them more than the traditional kind and everyone was asking me where I got them.  I doubt anyone would be able to get them at the price I did this time of year, but it doesn’t hurt to look.

George my second cousin rang me the other day. He knows I train at Kickboxing sutherland shire and wanted to know what the gym is like. I told him the gym is a relaxed environment full of members of the public from all different walks of life. George was impressed because he has never done any martial arts training before and was a bit intimidated. I told him not to worry because there was many beginner classes and all techniques are down under control. From our conversation George went to the gym and signed up for a 2 weeks trial membership and he even signed up for the wrestling class.

After I saw this awesome movie last week, I kept thinking about how beautiful the area where the film was shot was.  I was also thinking about how much fun Snowboarding seemed to be, because I have always loved skateboarding.  I was wondering if maybe that would even give me a little bit of an edge if I started taking a lesson or two.  I found a really cool website that gave me some details on the sport, and even had some good resource links for supplies and places where I could get some further instructions.  I have already ordered some items.

I’ve been interested in airsoft guns for a long time, but nothing prepared me for the huge entrance of airsoft grenades into the mix. You see, I’ve owned some of my favorite airsoft guns for years, and my boys are interested in them too. But then, they came home a few months ago talking about these airsoft grenades, I thought they were just dreaming.
