Unum Provident is one of the biggest insurance companies in the United States and in the United Kingdom but many of their policy holders complain of denial of their Unum disability claims by the company. It has been said that the company has been systematic in its denial of Unum Provident claim, rather unfairly in many cases, from policy holders who are seriously ill.

According to the U.S. Department of Labor, if it meets a certain criteria, a denied Unum Provident claim could be reassessed.  But since the reassessment process is rather complicated, it is advised that policy holders of a denied Unum Provident claim seek the assistance of a lawyer.
