My colleague is usually extremely quiet and reserved so I was pretty shocked to see that she started to join us at lunch on some days in the courtyard outside. She told me in confidence that she really had never meant to be snobbish or anything like that at all but it was just that she had to run home to care for her mom. Now she has hired home health care in New Jersey to look after her mom during working hours and said it is the biggest relief she has ever had. She is so much happier and more friendly now.
