I am a single parent and work full time, and I knew that there was no way for me to attend college full time during the week. I would have to pay for child care plus miss work, and my budget was already stretched to the limit. One of my friends told me that she was starting to look at online colleges for nursing, and I decided to see if I could do that, too. There was a program that was accepting new students, and I got in! The courses were interesting and challenging, and now I’m very close to graduating with a prestigious nursing degree.
