Last year our local sporting goods store had a huge end of the season sale.  Of course I never miss a good sale and was really pleased with the selection.  I bought a pair of Racing Skis at almost half off the original price.  I just used them for the first time about a month ago and really like the way they work on the fresh made snow.  They took a while to get used to but now I love them more than the traditional kind and everyone was asking me where I got them.  I doubt anyone would be able to get them at the price I did this time of year, but it doesn’t hurt to look.
